Balance In All Things Sometimes Requires A Shift in Perspective
What if you turned your viewpoint upside down?
Welcome, visionaries, mystics, muses, and seekers! While here, I invite you to put aside rigid, reality thinking and let your intuition flow. Shelley Writes is all about possibilities with inspiring stories for spiritual growth and Tarot spreads for guidance.
TAROT TODAY
Well maybe it is just the time of year
Or maybe it's the time of man
I don't know who l am
But you know life is for learning
—Joni Mitchell, Woodstock
So much change is in the air. Do you feel it, sense it?
I could say it’s the change of season, pending presidential election (in US), fall equinox (Northern Hemisphere), or approaching lunar and solar eclipses. I’m sure each of these is a contributing factor.
Even if you live somewhere without noticeable seasonal weather shifts, the light is moving. Morning sun comes in your window at a different angle. Darkness settles in earlier in the evening.
But there’s also a vibrational shift. I feel it. Do you?
For me, it’s exciting. Anticipatory of being on the cusp of something good, new.
I don’t think I’m the only one. I see evidence of reasons to be hopeful for positive change and a rising sense of readiness for it everywhere.
And because I’m tuned into the energy of other people as well as the planet, I also sense a bit cautionary apprehension in the collective. Maybe it won’t be so good for me. What if….
Not everyone welcomes change. Or perhaps some of us just don’t like sudden change. Some like to dip their toes in first, check things out, and move ahead slowly.
Others like to jump in and ride the wave.
Regardless of your regular or inborn style, there’s always an option to do it differently—just to see how that might look.
I think it’s crucial to mix things up, at least occasionally. Otherwise you get stuck in a rut. And once you’re ensconced in a comfy, safe place, you’re less likely to be open to new possibilities—and that tendency can become a self-imposed prison.
So how can you feel safe and adventurous at the same time?
Seek balance in all things. A little of this to equalize the tendency to lean toward that. And the way to achieve counterbalance is by turning things upside down once in a while, which is what this Spread for the Collective is all about.
For this reading, I focused on receiving information for the highest and best good of anyone who reads this post whenever it comes into their line of vision.
In a three-card reading, the cards represent (from left to right) past, present, and future influences. But wait…there are four cards. Keep reading 😉
Hanged Muse. Despite the unfortunate name and implied negative influence, the Hanged Muse represents trying a different perspective. It means seeing things in a new way or changing things around for the better.
4 of Inspiration. An indication of happy time spent with friends or family in community, a gathering, or social event.
Page of Inspiration. This Page represents young energy, vibrancy, creativity, and the energy of possibility.
3 of Materials: A "jumper" card, which fell from deck while I was shuffling, is a bonus...providing more information. This one portends successful collaboration, teamwork, group dynamics, and relationships.
Your Next Steps
This spread suggests that being open to the upside-down perspective of The Hanged Muse and sharing good times with others (4 of Inspiration) will bring the Page of Inspiration with fresh ideas, a renewed energy for life or specific project, and increased creativity.
Remember: In any reading, the cards reflect possibilities based on the energy of the moment and the current path you're on. You are always at free will and any change of path/action will yield different results. However, if you like the predicted outcome, you need only to stay on course.
In the case of this collective reading, the "bonus" 3 of Materials is your assurance that things will evolve in favor of all concerned—which is what my opening question requested.
I added the kyanite crystals on the top row of cards to help keep you grounded, yet inspired. The selenite wand next to the jumper card aligns, balances, and clears the way for your success.
Need some guidance regarding an important decision or possible change?
I offer intuitive sessions and a co-creative process to bring in new light and perspective to clear stuck energy and heal emotional wounds.
What’s an intuitive session, you ask. (And I’m so glad you did.)
“Intuitive energy healing,” according to Wendy De Rosa, founder of the School of Intuitive Studies (where I received my certification), “addresses the energy held in the body, mind, soul, and universe that may contribute to a physical, emotional, mental, or energetic symptom…. When this energy is released, a person often feels clear, lighter, inspired, uplifted, supported, and more connected to their true self.”
In an intuitive session, I tune into your auric (bio)field and together we explore root causes, clear blockages, and invite in new energy to connect you to the outcome you desire.
What’s the investment?
On a financial level…
A 30-minute intuitive Tarot reading ($57) and energetic clearing can often be the catalyst for the change or solution you’re seeking.
A 60-minute intuitive session ($111) may include a combination of chakra alignment, energy balancing, card reading, or guided meditation to release old energy that no longer serves or supports your highest good. Every session is different and conducted to address your unique need. A package of three sessions is available for deeper, more intensive healing, if desired.
On a spiritual level…
The time and energy you put into personal growth and healing yields a benefit that cannot be quantified in monetary measurements.
What’s it worth to you to free yourself of old baggage weighing you down that no longer serves your highest good?
What if you were free to explore the treasures you know you have within but may be hesitant to pursue because of old or outside limiting beliefs?
You can’t put a price tag on freedom…
But what if right now freedom was actually FREE?
For a limited time, you can choose how much you want to pay for a Founding Member subscription (regularly $200). That’s right. You can fill in any amount greater than the yearly subscription rate of $60 and become a Founding Member, which includes a 60-minute intuitive session of your choice with me. (Current paid subscribers pay only the difference.)
This offer is only available for the balance of September and will likely NEVER be repeated.
As always, I hope this message supports you on your journey. Until next time…
My best, Shelley
