It's closer than you may think

Today’s Spread for the Collective couldn’t be more timely. Not that I’m shocked. The cards have proven to be exceptionally accurate and relevant in readings for myself and others.
So here we are in the first week of a new year—a year that is prophesied to be a game-changer on every level. And the cards offer an uplifting vision of where the year is headed. Of course, you must follow the guidance to get the results, but I’m putting the cart before the horse. Let’s take a look at what’s possible.
#15 Journey. This card of the Major Arcana was a jumper…it fell out of the deck as I was shuffling and takes on the position of guiding the energy of the reading. Key words from the guidebook set us on a journey: pilgrimage, movement, self-discovery. Trust the path.
Messenger of Air. In the left position, this card represents the energy being brought into the reading. The Messenger of Air is a shapeshifter, changing form to deliver messages from one realm to another, yet always maintaining the quality of air: thoughts, ideas, visions.
9 of Air. Transition. In the center and representing present energy, this card indicates it’s time for change. The hive is full, and it’s time to move out and on. But not to another similar house that’s bigger and can hold more. You’re being asked to evaluate where you are and what you have. You don’t need to bring it all with you; in fact, the card in this position is suggesting you evaluate what you want to carry forth and what can be left behind. (Tip: this is a card of Air, so the meaning leans towards leaving behind beliefs as well as things that no longer serve you.)
#18. Guardian. In the future position, this symbol of grounded, ancient wisdom reminds us that “new” is not always the best (or only) choice. Maintaining basic, inherent, sustainable qualities is still the key to evolving as a person or a society. Key words from the guidebook include: confidence, self-respect, responsibility, integrity, harmony, hope, protection.
At this point in a reading, I often give my interpretation of the spread, reading the progression of the cards as the unfolding of a story line. Today, I’m being guided to let you tell your own story. Consider your timeline, events, and characters and then rely on your inner wisdom to direct the future outcome you wish to pursue.
You hold all the cards in the story of your life. Don’t allow anyone or anything to supersede your inner guidance. Your wisdom is that close. Trust it.
