Wait, where are the tall trees?

An East Coast girl, I made an innocent geographical mistake regarding the location of the housesit we booked in Redwood City, CA. Must be near the great tree forests, right?
We had our usual pre-sit phone interview, reviewed the house and pet photos on the booking site, and we were looking forward to our three-week stay in June 2018. It wasn’t until we starting planning our road trip down the Pacific Coast Highway from Washington State to Redwood City that I realized my error. Oops. Redwood City is closer to San Francisco than the Redwood forests.
Yet it was no big deal. We did drive through the Avenue of the Giants, the Redwood Forest on Hwy 101 in Oregon.
