Shelley, thanks for sharing your story of loss and trying your feet in a climate which asks for you to brand so others know what you are about.

I lost my husband to cancer close to 12 years ago and have been trying to find my footing ever since. I can't tell you the number of times I rebranded myself and my work since.

I love that you've decided not to chase the algorithm, SEO and conventional marketing wisdom. Your perspective and your voice is enough. Yes, you've gone into the abyss, staying on this side of death does that. The abyss is deep and rich, which means no catchy branding logo or byline can withstand the jewels found in the abyss.

Thank you, Chitra, for your kind words and support. I'm sorry to hear you also lost your husband to cancer. So many new roads to navigate. I admire your courage in the ongoing reinvention process. xo

I loved this! And tbh I love The Source with No Name - and Channeled messages from a divine whistleblower. They made me smile! Can't wait for the grand reveal. :)

Oh dear Shelley. This so much reminds me of my own journey. After getting my coaching certification, like you, I was researching for "how to build a business." I found several coaches who advised me. The light finally dawned on me when I had used a few words from a "coach" on my LI profile--that were words/phrases I don't normally use. And at that time, I decided to throw away the formulas and let it be me. Yes, I'll never be rich from my work or writings, but it's very much "me." I called my original phase as my bumper car period. I would try something and when that didn't work, I would go to another "car." lol Good luck as you morph again. I always gain something from your words--I look forward to more.

Love that, Jane. It is like buying a used car, and about as satisfactory—most often you end up "settling." And thanks for your continuing support. So appreciated!

Thanks, Lori. I'm feeling the "Yeah, not for me" sentiment in the collective, so I know I'm not alone. But I do love the support from friends :)
