A Contest Just For Fun
Test your intuition, knowledge of Dylan lyrics, and win a free session with me!
TODAY
If you’ve been reading these emails since June, you know I’ve been renovating back stage and have updated and restored some older issues for your recent reading pleasure.
I’m almost done (are we ever, though, as writers?). Well, done enough that I plan to introduce all-new content beginning next week. I’m super excited about it, but more about that in September!
Last weekend I was writing one of the new posts and using a lyric from a Dylan song for the title. It’s still a draft, but you’ll see it soon. As I was reviewing what I wrote, it occurred to me that I’ve used two of his song titles already: The Times They Are A-Changin’ and Shelter from the Storm.
So I scanned the Archive and saw that using song titles (or a playful version) from the past is something I’ve done 16 times in the 171 (and counting) posts already published! So, just for fun, here is the list. I’ve linked to them as well in case you don’t remember or missed it. Even as I read them over, I found nuggets I’d forgotten.
Please note some of these are from far back in the Archive and links within the post may not have been updated yet. Apologies in advance. (More fun coming soon. Be patient!)

The Fun Part: A Contest!
As mentioned in the opening, I’m writing a post using a Dylan lyric that will be published next week. And I’m turning it into a contest!! You must be a subscriber to enter (free is fine).
Here are the rules:
Below are four lyrics from Dylan songs. Use your intuition to select which is the one I’m using. Post your choice in the comments or hit reply to this email…nothin’ to it!
Hint #1 for trusting your intuition: Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and ground yourself by focusing your attention on your lower body. Once you “feel yourself,” read the choices below and be aware of how your body reacts to each one. The correct choice will “feel” different or “right.” Try it!
Hint #2 for trusting your intuition: Look for contextual clues that guide a likely choice. There’s one in each of the hints :) Note: contextual is not necessarily obvious.
I will pick one winner from all correct responses.
Is it…
A. How many times can a man turn his head and pretend that he just doesn’t see?
B. May you always do for others, and let others do for you.
C. You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.
D. I opened my heart to the world and the world came in.
Here are the prizes!
You must be a subscriber to play. I will pick one winner from all the correct responses (via the scientific “names in a hat” process).
